Adaptive technologies can be used to help students with disabilities learn better. Examples include recorded books, high-interest low-vocabulary books and scan/read systems. I have used recorded books in the past to help me read, not because I have a disability but because sometimes it is easier to listen to someone else read. I think this ay be a challenge in the classroom because if students realize these technologies are easier than the alternative, they may start to only use these technologies and forget about the original ways to learn.          You can use PowerPoint to support Bloom's Taxonomy by using every slide to portray a different level of each stage of the pyramid. This will give children a chance to learn while seeing it on different slides.

My experience using twitter so far has been really good. I am communicating with my classmates and learning a lot of information about technology around the world from following people. Benefits included being active in your class and getting to know some people. I am not experiencing any issues.           I learned how to turn words into links which I think is really cool, even though i needed help doing so. I can improve by taking my time and remembering what I did to get a certain task done on the assignment.     http://sandrabashoreeme2040.weebly.com I learned a lot from Diigo, I did not know how to annotate a page or highlight either! I am so happy with how much I learned. This can be useful in the classroom because I can highlight things for my students to pay attention to more.

I picked the elementary school I went to when I was younger and found a list of class pages arranged by grade. They were not specifically made by the teacher, but more of a broad curriculum for the whole grade. The school is called Dr. Phillips Elementary in Orlando FL, and I looked at the tab under 4th grade.  https://www.ocps.net/cms/One.aspx?portalId=54703&pageId=88164 https://drphillipses.ocps.net/homepage I envision myself using technology to effectively teach students by making my lessons more hands on. Technology is a great way to get your students to be more hands on. Edmodo and other sites allow them to be hands on and collaborative. I also think it important to learn visually so I will guide the with projectors and smart boards up front so they can watch me do things.  Unfortunately, last week I had to go to the doctor for a medical emergency and did not make it to class. Luckily, a few of my classmates posted pictures ...

I think the Web 2.0 tools are all useful and its upsetting they are no longer a part of the classroom. I think the tools to help students learn virtually such as Skype, Glogster, and Kidblog are very useful in the classroom.  I think Edmodo is a very efficient tool to use in the classroom. It makes teaching easier because you can pot something on edmodo and the students will always be able to see it, and it allows students and teachers to communicate easily.  https://www.edmodo.com. I think the biggest promise for education would be 3D printing. You are all to create 3D objects from information created with computer-aided design software and raw materials. I think this would be amazing and help students learn more creatively and hands-on.

I made my first twitter when I was about 12 years old, in 6th grade. I had in all throughout high school and then deleted it when I got to FSU. I used to interact with my friends mostly, but also followed celebrities and other important people. Twitter might be helpful when I am a teacher because I can talk to other teachers from all over the world for ideas and help in the classroom. The digital divide makes it hard for students who do not have internet access at their fingertips to succeed in school when other students do. Causes of the digital divide are low-income students in the same class as higher income students. (Based on their parents income.) This may be hard as a teacher because you will have to make assignments and homework that will allow both types of students to succeed. I believe I will use Microsoft word the most in the classroom. You can use it for quizzes, flyers and other activities. I like it because it is quick to use. When I am teaching 3rd grade, I c...
