You can use data collection in many different ways as a teacher. You can use it with your students to understand how much they know about a subject and if they feel comfortable moving on. You can use it for fun, like asking them what game they would like to play at recess. You can also use it on the parents by asking them which time works best for events such as a mother daughter dance. Kindergarten students may want to tell you their favorite color while 5th graders may want to use it to tell you the middle school they wish to go to.  The topics I found most interesting while reviewing classmates blogs were what grades everyone wanted to teach, teaching philosophies and subjects everyone likes to teach.  Technology skills I would like to learn net are how to make interactive graphs on word and powerpoint. I would also like to learn new softwares for myself as a teacher and my students in the future. I would like to have distinct things for me and then my stu...

    The flipped classroom is where you combine traditional learning strategies with new ones such as new technology or online content. This could be using regular classroom technologies but then adding new ones on top of it so everyone can learn differently. You can make one part of your lesson online while one is traditional.  https://youtu.be/ojiebVw8O0g I acquired many new skills working with the power point projects. I learned how to use slide master which I did not know how to use before. I was ab;e to create a new layout and insert it into my own project. I also learned how to enter my voice into slides which I never knew how to do before. I am do glad I learned these new skills because I can use them when I am a teacher.
