Adaptive technologies can be used to help students with disabilities learn better. Examples include recorded books, high-interest low-vocabulary books and scan/read systems. I have used recorded books in the past to help me read, not because I have a disability but because sometimes it is easier to listen to someone else read. I think this ay be a challenge in the classroom because if students realize these technologies are easier than the alternative, they may start to only use these technologies and forget about the original ways to learn.
You can use PowerPoint to support Bloom's Taxonomy by using every slide to portray a different level of each stage of the pyramid. This will give children a chance to learn while seeing it on different slides.
