I made my first twitter when I was about 12 years old, in 6th grade. I had in all throughout high school and then deleted it when I got to FSU. I used to interact with my friends mostly, but also followed celebrities and other important people. Twitter might be helpful when I am a teacher because I can talk to other teachers from all over the world for ideas and help in the classroom.
The digital divide makes it hard for students who do not have internet access at their fingertips to succeed in school when other students do. Causes of the digital divide are low-income students in the same class as higher income students. (Based on their parents income.) This may be hard as a teacher because you will have to make assignments and homework that will allow both types of students to succeed.
I believe I will use Microsoft word the most in the classroom. You can use it for quizzes, flyers and other activities. I like it because it is quick to use. When I am teaching 3rd grade, I can use it for history, math and science quizzes, and it will not take long at all.
